Ray owns four different photographic businesses in Hertfordshire, which have now been running successfully for over 33 years. A large high street family portrait studio, with three highly qualified studio photographers and 6 back up staff. A purpose built baby studio, with a specialist qualified child photographer, that has been working with Ray for 19 years. A Commercial–Industrial business which works for companies like Tesco, Sainsbury, and many more, with customers that have been using Ray for over 25 years and of course a wedding business which at its height photographed 220 weddings per year.
His list of qualifications is huge, because of his deep belief in self education and raising the standards of professional photography.
Ray Lowe has two Honorary Fellowships from the BIPP (British Institute of Professional Photography) and the MPA (Master Photographers Association) never before achieved by any other photographer, which came with a citation which reads, 'for outstanding services to the photographic industry'. FRPS, (Fellow of the Royal Photographic Society), QEP, Qualified European Photographer from the Federation of European Photographers. Master Craftsman of Professional Photographers of America, 9 European Kodak gold Awards and every regional award he has gone for.

He still trains all of his photographers to the highest qualifications possible, as the public in this day and age demand professional qualifications; his photographic knowledge is second to none.
